Seamless Network Switching

Some Motorola radios with Wi-Fi can seamlessly switch between Wi-Fi and the MOTOTRBO network, depending on which signal is stronger. This can help to ensure that you always have a clear connection, even if you're moving around a lot.

For example, let's say someone on staff at a large hospital begins their shift using their radio's MOTOTRBO network. This provides reliable coverage throughout the hospital's main building. However, if they enter a basement area with a weak MOTOTRBO signal but strong Wi-Fi coverage, the radio automatically detects this change. Without any manual intervention or noticeable interruption in communication or features, the radio seamlessly switches its connection to the hospital's Wi-Fi network. When the staff member moves back into an area with strong MOTOTRBO coverage, the radio intelligently reverts back to the MOTOTRBO network.
